Glamour Grammar is an ongoing performative reading series. In various ways it experiments with the act of
public reading as a form of the ultimate ephemeral practice of interacting and dealing with knowledge. The reader never owns but is a nomad on the land of others. Referring to everyday ritualistic reading practices
the text consists of various excerpts that make up the artist’s own research. Through the use of her own comments she creates a fragmented text collage. By the continuous act of referring, of giving credit to the many sources and other minds through which an artwork comes to life, the artistic process is opened up.
For the first sessions references included amongst others Sharon Kivland, Hélène Cixous, Lucí Cavallero and Verónica Gago, Charlotte Wolff, Olga Tokarczuk, Trinh Thi Minh Hà, Mary Douglas, Julietta Singh and Michel de Certeau.
